INSTRUCTIONS: Medication adherence (MA) is a fancy way of saying that a patient is taking their
prescription when and how they are supposed to. Non adherence to a medication regimen has become a
growing concern among healthcare professionals, and there has been a push to identify factors that
promote or inhibit MA in patients. As future pharmacists, you will play an important role in making sure
that patients properly use their medication. Consequently, it will be important for you to understand what
factors shape medication-taking behaviors. For this assignment, you will identify possible reasons for non adherence
to a medication. You should respond to each of the following questions:
