Nursing theorists might use a term in different ways for eg the concept of caring has been treated slightly differently by different theorists and a good concept analysis will highlight the differences and similarities where they exist. In addition many nursing phenomena are patient centred and so a concept needs to be understood from the patientas perspective as well as professional perspective for eg when exploring a concept such as therapeutic relationship, you also need to explore how patients conceptualize therapeutic care and cultural barriers as it affects patients and the relationship.
